“ We stopped here after the 4th of July. The server told us the owners are from Jalisco,.Mexico. The food was unique and delicious. We had the chili relleno plate. It came with green chili stew. The surprise was that the stew was served on top of the rellenos. However, this was an extremely tasy combo. You still get the relleno flavor with a green chili slant. It's served with refried beans and rice. I did feel that the green chili and salsa were a tad hotter than I'm used to, but I'm a gringo, so what do I know? Just know, you might need to wash down any after burn. I'm assuming this is a very authentic style of cooking. The restaurant has an eclectic style that fits the Route 66 vibe. Prices are reasonable. I really recommend this place, but do come prepared to eat something new or cooked in a new style. I'm a foodie adventurer, so this was a winner for me and memorable. I also loved that the music wasn't blasting loud, thank you very much. We need more geezer friendly places. ”
